It doesn't matter whether you're new to system trading, or are a seasoned professional, my step-by-step process can help you design your very own profitable trading system.

My method isn’t a "black box system" for you to trade blindlessly (these types of systems simply don't work) instead I will provide you with the framework you need to build your very own profitable trading system.

Since it’s you who will ultimately trade this system I believe it has to reflect your own personality - remember everyone is different. We all have different levels of risk tolerance, time availability and capital to invest – as such you need to have a system to suit your situation.

There really are hundreds of profitable trading systems out there… Some buy on strength, sell on weakness; others do the opposite. Some market participants succeed as value investors, a la Warren Buffet; other makes their millions using momentum methods. I’ve even heard of an astrologist who uses the stars to trade profitably.

The point I'm trying to illustrate here is that there really are a multitude of ways to extract profits from the markets. Despite the diversity between these trading methods there is one common element amongst all successful traders and that is that they have systematic way in which they approach the market.

Many traders fail because they don’t assess how well a trading system matches their temperament. Instead, they chase fads, searching for the "Holy Grail" of trading success. They waste their money on the latest software package or buying the next big thing promoted by some self-proclaimed stock market guru.

The truth is there is no perfect trading system. Successful traders succeed because they choose systems that they feel comfortable with, not one that is the latest fad.

It’s true, a cool, disciplined trader will make money with an “average” trading system, while a nervous, arbitrary trader will wreck a “brilliant” system.
